Certain MP3 files are not correctly read by my player. To start with, make sure that the file’s audio features conform to the specifications of your player (rate, number of channels, resolution, coding type). If all this seems correct, make sure that all the metadata (TAG ID1 and TAG ID2) for your MP3 file are deleted in order to exclusively use the audio information. In fact, certain types of TAGs can prevent the reading of files. There are many functions existing to manage and delete TAGS in your files, but if you do not possess the reference application, you can use the software Winamp (Windows). Although I have carefully followed the instructions in the user manual, the files and folders do not seem to follow the desired logic. The problem probably comes from the file and folder names that you have used. So that the Micro Player functioning logic can be applied, the file and folder names must consist of 7 characters, no less and no more. Each character must have a meaning conforming to the user manual and be written in capitals. When this is not the case, the player will apply the default functioning logic. Can I use a MAC OS X system to prepare the contents of my SD card ?You can use either a MAC OS X, Windows, or Linus to prepare your contents. All these systems can take control of the FAT32. Nevertheless, when you use a MAC OS operation system, the copying operations for files will create a certain number of hidden system files (DS_Store, etc). These files can impede the operations of your player. This is why is highly recommended to delete them. A number of functions for Mac allow you to delete these undesired system files such as: Hidden Cleaner, CleanUp Smb Mess, DS_Store Cleaner, or even Onyx. My SD card of 4GB (or more) does not function with my player, even though I have correctly formatted it in FAT32.SD cards of more than 2 GB are SDHC cards (High Capacity SD Cards). Microplayer players are not compatible with the SDHC model. Please use a card that is strictly SD of a capacity that is less than or equal to 2GB. When I plug in my cable in the trigger input connector, my player lights up but does not start up when I switch on. However, it functions perfectly when I do not plug the cable in.Make sure that at no point it is closed off to GND when switch on. When closed off to GND, the player switches into a special mode which prevents start up. End FAQ |
